The Pro tier requires architecture upgrades (accounts system, database, Stripe integration) before it can ship. No payment processor is connected. Features listed are planned, not purchasable today.
Why these prices?
Tabicons has zero marginal cost per check (Cloudflare Workers Free plan — no paid APIs, no database, no email). The Free tier costs the business nothing to operate and gives the core diagnostic value to everyone without barriers.
The proposed Pro price of $9/mo is based on the value delivered: a favicon debugging session typically takes 15–30 minutes of developer time ($25–75 at blended rates). The tool pays for itself after one use per quarter. For webmasters checking multiple sites monthly, the value is recurring and multiples higher.

What happens next
- The pricing proposal requires human approval before going live.
- Once approved: architecture upgrades (accounts, database, rate limiting), Stripe integration, and Pro feature development must precede launch.
- Existing free users will never lose access to the Free tier.
- Notifications about paid plans will appear on the homepage and terms page when they are ready.
